Starting the New Year with a bang

The volunteers at Canning South Perth SES started 2018 with a bang at the City of Canning’s New Year’s Day fireworks event.

Each year this community event attracts around 15000 people to the Shelley foreshore to enjoy live music, delicious food and a dazzling display of fireworks. This year SES foot patrol teams, boat teams and an operations team joined the fun – working together with other emergency services to ensure the safety of the families and local community members enjoying the fireworks.

Canning South Perth SES unit looks forward to continuing to support the City of Canning and the City of South Perth throughout 2018.
